The Opt in for consultation note is very good advice. Sometimes, women may be hesitant to do so as they may come off as too forward, but it is necessary to make sure your hair is taken good care of.
Some good natural hair salons will recommend a consultation before they style your hair as well.

Hi Luv, Congrats on your transition process! If you want to rock this style
but have issues with your ends unraveling, I would highly recommend twisting
or braiding your hair using a styling foam. I squirted a bit of styling
foam onto my hands and rubbed it through each section that I twisted. This
not only wet the hair, making it easy to manipulate, but it also gave it the
hold the style needed. The hair ends up "setting" in the twists, therefore
allowing the strands to keep their twisted shape. If you're still having
problems with the hair unraveling, I'd suggest clipping the ends of the
twists in bunches using some kind of clamp, clasp, or even band to hold them
together unti they dry. Once its dried, you shouldn't have that problem.

Hi, Great style, I love it!

I am 6 months into my transition, so this would work wonders for me :-)
My only question is: you said that her hair is half natural & half relaxed, so how did you keep the ends (relaxed portion) of the two strand twists closed?? My straight, relaxed ends will unravel whenever I put in braids or into two strand twists, even when I do set them on rods or rollers. I always have to put one of those little black rubber bands on the ends.

LOL!! Everything was wrong with this video. He was showing three different women supposedly with three different hair textures, yet they all looked the same! Since when is coarse curly hair defined as straight (no matter how she got it that way)!
I am not offended or disappointed by this video. The man obviously has something to sell and, like all snake oil dealers, his mode of marketing is aimed at creating a need where there is no need.
I laughed through the whole thing. Thanks but no thanks. I love my rough, kinky, coarse, untameable mess! lol

lol, AGREED. He does not know what he's talking about. He begins by
stereotyping "fine" hair to mean "straight" hair. My hair is fine, but it's
coily in texture. My hair is not limp as he describes fine hair. So will
that product work for my hair? Well according to him it will. I'm not
convinced :-/

Now how about the model they chose to represent his "Coarse, Curly, & Frizzy
Hair" product? I truly did not get it and still don't. Her hair did not
look coarse, curly, or frizzy to me, but rather straight and oily. Maybe
it's my eyes and I'm just not seeing correctly. :-)

Ummm Okay I feel your frustration! How does he even have products? I'm thinking his name is just on products and he has nothing to do with creating them - or at least this is what I got from looking at his video. He was clearly stating the obvious which was too funny - lol On the part in the end about the frizzy coarse hair being difficult to get to "look good" - I guess "good" meant straight. Then he said choose products and you'll be happy - I guess meaning just having the products sitting in our cabinets will make us happy? What!?!
